Congratulations to December Student of the Month, Amber Orrey, the seventeen year old senior of Mike and Deborah Orrey of Anderson.

Nominated by several staff members for being a wonderful example of what it is to be a CUB, the type of student you wish wasn’t a senior, but would stay at AUHS forever. Mrs. Perea says ,”she is an excellent student, she is helpful to other students, she is respectful and is always cheerful.. and participates in many school activities… I wish she could stick around for a few more years !!!

Amber plans to attend UC Davis or Oregon State, majoring in veterinary medicine. She shared that she loved her time in music and English at AUHS, both allowed her to express herself in different ways. The fourth member of her family to attend AUHS, after graduation Amber says she will miss her friends the most.
